Had an awful day marred by the incompetence of others, so I bought a box of wine (Hungarian white riesling) on the way home, played soem video games and did some drawing.

One is an erotic take on an elven rogue/bard I play in Pathfinder, while the other are pencils for DireLilith's Xmas Catgirl. Enjoy!

Daily iSketch - Yarrrr!

Dicking around some more with a sketch on the iPad. As you can see, I got a bit carried away with the smudge tool and the background...

*Note: 'Lil informed me that iSketch is actually a real thing. So to clarify, what I call a daily iSketch isn't done with the iSketch application, I'm just too lazy to type 'iPad Sketch'.

Just another iPad sketch... for DireLilith x

Those of you who like my pencil sketches are probably thinking, 'what the fuck is this crap?!'

Well, to be fair, I don't think I will ever replace pencils and paper as my preferred sketching medium, but it's fun practising to sketch on the iPad, and easier to upload.

So here's a sketch that I'm doing as part of a little Xmas gift for my fellow artist friend, DireLilith.

This gal's a sort of night elf, Christmassy catgirl... er.. thing.. chick.. whatever. Enjoy!

Pandaren Love... (iPad sketch with GoSmart stylus)

So here's the first sketch done using the GoSmart stylus I got today. I have to say it is so much easier to draw, now that there isn't a fat, spongy nipple blocking the view. It feels a lot more intuitive; like holding a real pen. Takes a little getting used to, but so far I'm very happy with the results.

Received my 300 series GoSmart iPad stylus today! Yey!

It's a teflon-coated 'targetting reticle' doodad for writing and drawing on an iPad or similar device.
I have always wanted to do more sketching on my iPad, you know, art on the go, throw down ideas no matter where I am, etc etc, but even the finest spongy nipple stylus is no good for me, as I just can't see where the lines are starting. Imagine trying to do pencil sketching with a blunt crayon...

I haven't done much testing yet, but to far this cute little rocket is really smooth, and works well, even on an iPad with a screen protector.

I'll upload some actual sketches later, but for now, here's a couple photos of the stylus.
